Holiday Shopping Guide!

5

UPDATED: 12/5/13! I recently sent some friends an e-mail with things I bought (or will be buying) for my holiday gift list. Then Monica from Wired Momma asked if she could feature it on her blog. THEN I thought, “wait a minute…I have a blog, and back when I was actually writing stuff on…

A Little Birdie Told Me (I’m sure I’ve used that one before…)

I have always loved bird motifs. And while most of her work is related to her paintings, I’m just enchanted with Laurie Coyle’s fanciful custom bird sculptures. At $45, they are about 3.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches long “beak to tail.” The legs and body structure are made with wire, and the body is…

Buying Tea for the Tins

Well – as I was perusing my November issue of House Beautiful, I was delighted to see her work mentioned in the “best” of the month section! The caption reads: “Matchbox: A wooden matchbox with a handmade decoupaged…

John Derian for Target

Have you see John Derian’s new line for Target? I found a few items that I wouldn’t mind picking up… I especially love that last one – the marbling effect has kind of a Klimt thing going on, don’t you think? The designer lines for Target are so much fun! I just perused the new…

Pretty Paper Good[nes]s

These make me happy. See more in The Guilded Bee shop.

Lovely Lamps

Earlier this month, Susan from Shandell’s added some gorgeous lamps to her Etsy shop. She made shades with the hand made paper of artist, Dana Curtis and paired them with vintage lamps. I love how unique lamps bring personality to a room. It’s so easy to find something neutral to “go with” the existing furnishings….

A Little Birdie Told Me…

That these super cute bird vases are on sale at Reverie Daydream right now: So are these: Check out the sale here – but I dare you to visit the site without thinking about buying one of these full prices items…
